Modern design is by far the most requested type of design that our customers ask for. We specialize in this specifically, since it is the most popular trend that is occurring within the interior design market. Clean straight lines, the use of metal, and being minimalistic as possible are great factors when designing a modern feel inside a home. A bad trend I see other interior designs partake in is the lack of bold accent colors on the walls. Modern homes look better with neutral colors (shades of black and white) combined with bold colors to accent and differentiate the colors as a whole. This makes the room ‘pop’ by the accents providing focal points for the homeowner. Put some modern design inside of your home and you will see how nice this style truly is. 

 While visiting the annual Furniture Market in High Point, North Carolina, many great themes and designs were learned and influenced on our work. Every year our team goes to this grand event with consumers and sellers from all across the globe. I never realized the amount of people who attend this each year along with the different demographics of people that is reached. From modern interior designs to beautiful rugs to $20,000 massage chairs, the High Point Furniture Market offers a huge variety of furniture items and much more. Being able to meet a businessman from Japan and talk about the furniture in a set room opens up your perspective on design and can help learn so many new themes and ideas for designing a house. I began attending this event as a college student working for various showrooms with basic help they needed daily. As time has progressed, I am currently the Social Media Manager of Stubborn Interior Designers. I enjoy working with customers, exchanging ideas and creating an incredible finished product that both of us are satisfied with.
